Creative Writing

Great writers are also great readers. Our Creative Writing programme combines Reading Comprehension and Writing Skills to help children understand what they read, develop their own ideas and express themselves clearly in writing. Building on the language foundations developed through Jolly Literacy, the programme uses rich fiction and nonfiction texts, stimulating ideas and purposeful writing activities to develop thoughtful readers and inspired writers. Children learn to move from understanding a text to creating their own, developing the skills needed to write with clarity, creativity and purpose.
